Mystery of The Dead Man

Nathaniel "Moe" Bell (Born 4 September 1835 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) was an American artist originally from Pennsylvania. After working for twenty seven years as a painter and music critic he decided to try his hand at playing trumpet or flute, but did not have the necessary skills to perform, he returned to painting. He began performing in New England in 1864 and opened the first music room in Philadelphia, the King's Tavern, in 1862. He then became owner of The King's Tavern for ten years and in the following ten years was sold to John D. Rockefeller, Jr, in 1877. Together both men turned their talent to music, recording the music together under the title of Mystic Blue Grass, which was produced by Bell's brother, David Bell. The music was later recorded by Carnegie to be recorded for an album with music from mystic songs of the dead. Mystic Blue Grass is a combination of several songs from Mystic Green Grass.
